Fedora implements precognitive technology

If your Fedora Linux installation had only one hour left to live, where would you go and what would you do? Welcome to another brand new installment of my adventures in enterprise Linux’ing.

Fedora Linux precog

(Un?)expected system error - System failure will occur 56 minutes from now.

The issue was caused by some unfortunate mishap with my external ethernet adapter throwing an initial backtrace of ens20u1u4 (r8152): transmit queue 0 timed out. To be honest, I didn’t investigate any further as dealing with application crashes and system failures on Fedora feels like a game of whack-a-mole I can never win.

Gnome notifications

Anyhow, I’m sorry about posting this nonsense here. I must admit, however, that I found the error report too good not to share. Heh! Those mad Red Hatters.

And yeah, the “Year of the Linux Desktop” is still not happening.
